Sara Behbud’s recognition as a finalist in the Diversity & Inclusion category at the CNMI Sustainable Fashion Awards 2025 reflects the social dimension of her practice. Through the Woman Life Freedom collection, created in collaboration with Centro Milano Donna 9, women who have experienced violence or vulnerability take an active role in the making of the garments, connecting design with inclusion, solidarity and women’s empowerment.
